Santa Ynez is one of six communities located in the in the Santa Ynez Valle (The town of Santa Ynez, Ballard, Buellton, Los Alamos, Los Olivos and Solvang).
Santa Ynez has been described as a sophisticated Cowboy town. This ageless town one hour north of Santa Barbara has old west storefronts, an amazing stagecoach museum, horseshoe embedded sidewalks, saloons and a feed store.
The Santa Ynez Valley’s stunning landscape offers world-renowned wineries, white-fenced horse ranches, stunning lavender fields and scenic rolling hills. Santa Ynez is also located within five distinct American Viticultural Areas (AVA) in the Santa Ynez Valley.
