Gainey Vineyard is a family-owned estate winery in the Santa Ynez Valley. Gainey has been producing wines for 35-years and is a fourth generation Santa Ynez Valley family. Gainey is known for high quality wines, a dynamic wine portfolio, and farming sustainably.

Four generations of Gaineys have shaped the ranch into a thriving estate of innovation while preserving the heritage of the region. In the 1980’s, the Gaineys were among the first to plant vines and build a winery in the area. Later, they were the first to have vineyard holdings in both Santa Ynez Valley and the Sta. Rita Hills appellation. Dan Gainey, along with a few others, wer influential in developing the Sta. Rita Hills appellation.
