About
Shoreline Park is a popular 14.6-acre coastal bluff park located west of Leadbetter Beach. Park amenities include a playground, two restrooms, individual picnic tables and barbeques, a group picnic area, sidewalks, park benches, and beach access stairs. Shoreline Park provides sweeping views of the Santa Barbara coastline, the City, and Santa Ynez Mountains.
This park is perfect for a family picnic. Kids also love the nearby playground and a chance to watch for whales.
Walking through the Torii Gate in the center of the park will take you to the Shoreline Park Staircase leading down the bluff and providing access to the beach below. The beach below the bluffs is relatively narrow and rocky and is often covered in water due to tides.
Dogs may be exercised off-leash on the beach from the Shoreline Park Staircase to the eastern edge of the Arroyo Burro Estuary. Dogs are allowed on-leash in Shoreline Park. Alcohol is prohibited.
